Electronic Funds Transfer makes giving easier AND reduces processing fees charged to HIS. Physical checks have processing fees, so EFT is the least expensive and safest method to give.
Where is my money going?
As a small organization, HIS has the benefit of directing every donation into ministry. There is no percentage taken off the top to cover administrative costs. There are several areas to which you can donate, including the School of Promise, Seed Christian School, Promise Publications, and the Capital Campaign to build a major Middle School/High School in Northern Thailand.
The School of Promise is the first school planted by HIS, located in Hang Dong, Thailand. Our school team provides excellent Christian education, designed to break the cycle of poverty and oppression.
Seed Christian School will be planted in a largely unreached area of Northwestern Thailand. We will start with Kindergarten and add elementary school.
Promise Publications is continually publishing new children's stories and youth literature in the Thai language. These books are written from a Christian perspective and provide wonderful opportunities for children and their parents to learn who God is and how much He loves them. We are also developing Bible-Integrated textbooks for use in schools throughout Southeast Asia.
Students are especially vulnerable to dropping out of school and becoming victims of oppression in the transitions into Middle School and High School. HIS plans to build a new Middle School and High School campus with capacity for 240 students and room to grow, so that students graduating Elementary Schools and Middle Schools will have an excellent option for staying in school.
